NNRA SOUTH-EAST ZONAL OFFICE SUPPORTS ANTI-SUBSTANCE ABUSE CAMPAIGN

The NNRA South-East Zonal Office, Enugu, led by the Acting Zonal Coordinator, Mr. Ekene Efienemokwu, participated in an anti-substance abuse sensitisation programme organised by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in collaboration with MTN Nigeria and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).

The initiative sought to raise awareness on the dangers of substance abuse and encourage positive life choices among young people.

NNRA’s participation reflects its commitment to promoting public safety and community well-being in line with its mandate and statutory responsibility for ensuring nuclear safety, security and safeguards, as well as the protection of life, health, property, and the environment from the harmful effects of ionizing radiation. As part of its corporate social responsibility, the Authority continues to support initiatives that foster a safer, healthier, and more productive society.
