NPF SEEKS FURTHER COLLABORATION WITH NNRA
The Nigerian Nuclear Regulatory Authority (NNRA) received CP Patrick Adedeji Atayero, the newly appointed Commissioner of Police, Explosive Ordinance Disposal-Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (EOD-CBRN) of the Force Headquarters, Abuja, on 18th April, 2024. The meeting aimed at enhancing the existing collaboration between NNRA and the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) particularly in the critical areas of nuclear safety and physical security of radioactive sources......
MISSION STATEMENT
To regulate radiological protection and nuclear safety so as to ensure the protection of life, health, property and the environment from the harmful effects of ionizing radiation, safety and security of radioactive sources and nuclear materials and, to enable Nigeria meet its international obligations on the peaceful uses of nuclear technology.
