NNRA MOVES TO ENFORCE COMPLIANCE IN BAYELSA

The NNRA, through its Bayelsa Operational Office, has initiated enforcement actions against some facilities over non-compliance with established regulatory requirements, following earlier notices that were not addressed.

Prior to the commencement of enforcement measures, representatives of the affected facilities engaged the Authority, presenting their positions and demonstrating a renewed commitment to compliance. This has prompted ongoing consultations, with the situation currently under review.

The NNRA reiterates its mandate to ensure the protection of life, public health, and the environment, and remains committed to working collaboratively with stakeholders to achieve full regulatory compliance.
