NNRA GOMBE ENGAGES STATE MINISTRY OF HEALTH ON RADIATION SAFETY

The NNRA North-East Zonal Office, led by Mr. Tanko Yusuf Baba, on 28th July 2026 paid a courtesy visit to the Gombe State Commissioner for Health, Prof. Danladi A. Bojude, to strengthen partnership on radiation safety in healthcare facilities.

The meeting discussed appointing Radiation Safety Advisers and Officers, obtaining operational licences, and organizing a State-wide sensitization workshop for public and private hospitals. The Commissioner welcomed the collaboration and assured support for NNRA’s regulatory mandate.

This engagement reflects NNRA’s commitment to protecting patients, workers, and the public from the harmful effects of ionizing radiation.
